Ilija Bentscheff was born in 1981 in Berlin, Germany. He graduated in October 2010 from the University of the Arts in Berlin, where he has been a TA at the chair of Building Construction of Prof. Bettina Goetz. He has been studying as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked as an architectural designer at Paul Preissner Architects in Chicago, ManiFold Architecture Studio in New York and Cook + Fox Architects in New York. He taught a Generative Design seminar at the UdK Berlin at the chair of Prof. Gengnagel in 2009 and wrote during that period a paper towards teaching Generative Design in Architecture which is being published in Advances in Architectural Geometry by Springer Press in 2010(/www.architecturalgeometry.at/aag10/proceedings.php). Ilija is currently working as a partner at M AD. |
